I became certified as a CYPros Consultant [for Cypress PSoC products] in March 2007. I am presently working for certification in Cypress USB and WirelessUSB products. At this time there are Seven PSoC, One USB, and NO CYPros WirelessUSB CYPros Certified Consultants in the U.K.

SAN JOSE, Calif., April 23, 2002 - Cypress Semiconductor Corporation (NYSE: CY) today announced that it had expanded its customer support network by certifying independent consultants to help customers speed their systems from design to production. The CYPros(R) certified consultants program complements the efforts of the company's worldwide networks of Field Application Engineers (FAEs) and Customer Design Centers.
"Our certified consultant partners dramatically increase Cypress's customer support resources, providing our customers with a third avenue of assistance," said Blair Wilson, Cypress Customer Design Center manager. "Our FAEs provide our customers with architecture assistance, technical information and on-site support while our Customer Design Centers can help customers with their device-level implementation efforts.
"The CYPros team can provide a system-level perspective and integrate either part or all of the customer's design, effectively taking it the last mile from design to production. They will allow our customers to outsource portions of their projects and focus on their core competencies and broader design issues as they bring their products to market," continued Wilson.
The CYPros program currently focuses on the company's USB and Programmable System-on-Chip(TM) (PSoC(TM)) microcontroller products. The company continues to recruit consultants and will expand the scope of the program to include support for other Cypress solutions that target communications applications in the wide-area networking and wireless infrastructure arenas.
Independent consultants are certified on the basis of an exhaustive review of their training, skill set, and experience. The talented engineers selected are provided with extensive training in Cypress technologies and products, and are given access to the company's development tools, documentation and technical support resources. They will also be granted access to a variety of Cypress intellectual properties to enhance the product solutions they will develop.
